By far the worst hospital to have a baby in. Run for the hills if you want to come out alive with your child. Holly Cook is the worst head midwife and does not care for her behaviour or the work that comes with the job title. They refuse to admit they are understaffed but will force delayed labour and tell you they dont have enough people to deliver the baby. Also will delay epidural procedure and will advise you to take paracetamol and walk 3 sets of stairs, rather than call a professional. Then it's too late and you end up having your baby in pain. Very judgemental if others but don't look at their own behaviour. Horrible and should be shut down over safety for patients in labour and delivery wards

Absolutely brilliant. I spent 2.5 hours there today during which I had a one hour consultation with the excellent Dr Simone Ivatts, top stroke specialist, an ECG, blood tests, chest x-ray and neck scan. Everybody was so friendly and helpful. St. Richards has huge pressures because of an elderly population, high holidaymaker visits and high immigration for the smallholdings yet is universally acclaimed locally. If all hospitals were like this the NHS wouldn't have such a problem

I was taken to Chichester Hospital with a badly broken arm in the middle of the night,can I just say the staff were absolutely fabulous considering they are under so much pressure. A week later I had to go back for an operation and was so well looked after! I just need to say to all staff thank you so much for all you did especially a lady in AE Jane who put herself out to help me your all amazing!!?

Very sad to say staff were discriminatory, derogatory and deficient in their treatment both verbally and clinically. I would never willingly go there ever again.

Terrible service all round the medical have alot to answer for,for their strange and unkind behaviours over the covid period. If your working in a customer related environment,but you lack the basic requirements needed for the job.People are lacking in many ways, and i feel the nurses and doctors are becoming sick mentally ,and have no sense of feel or empathy and without realising their have made soo many fundamental errors within their practice. Every single person in life needs to question their own mental health and their reality. I dont have any faith in the national health service.I dont like the way those unprofessional nurses in the ward telling us that you can only go only two at a time to visit loved ones. Doctors and nurses dont know everything and are not miracle workers. No one should be told who they can and cannot visit,shame on those who are pushing everything that is wrong now that is coming out into the light with regards to covid 19. Medical professionals over the pandemic are a big let down, we asked one of the staff were they busy over lockdown,the answer he replied was no! so there we go we have to question everything and not to rely on medical intervention.
