I never thought I'd review a recycling centre but it was genuinely a lovely experience, the man at the entrance was nice, funny and very helpful with what to do (as we were there for the first time), we had already presorted our items but had to bag some things whilst there which wasn't a problem at all, the entire place was relaxed and I didn't feel stressed which I thought I would, also went to the shop and got some new items all in all great time, ticked off the bucket list as the gent at the front would say

Great place. Everything is well organised and the staff are great, especially the fella working the checks as you enter. He is a star! Since the booking system was implemented its a much smoother and less crowded experience, and has weeded out the selfish few.

I brought engine oil in a sealed container, the container wasn’t to their liking so I suggested a solution to re-use a bottle from the hard plastics skip with the intention to pour my oil into that so it could be accepted. Was laughed off the premises for wasting their time. Seems to contradict the main purpose of this centre… may as well call it a dump. Also, not many brain cells between the staff. Word to the wise, bring your engine oil in an engine oil bottle or very similar.
