I was never looked after by the head at the time. He stayed as far away as he could from student related issues. He wasn’t someone you could go to for help and he wouldn’t help kids in need. The new head Mr Doyle was always good and fair to me during my time there, despite countless situations where I had cause lots of issues. I hope he’s doing a better job with the place, because this school ruined education for me as a child to the point I never continued any form of education afterwards.

Horrible management of students. School does nothing about rude, incredibly ill manered students and have no regard for any zero tolerance policy. Their website raves about, enstilling good behaviour, yet they fail to do anything about any reports of vandalism or damage or dissrespect within the public community. There are groups of Childeren loitering outside the roads near the school, always swearing and being very anti social. Simply put, there are a large number of chavs. Lots of kids with there hoodies on swearing and being extremely loud and groups, intimidating members of the public. It’s not okay. Furthermore, the headteacher seems to be completely useless and does absolutely nothing about the problem.

The school has a total disregard for the community and its members, students often swear at, and vandalise property of, those living in the area and even with the constant attempts to alert the school to this, nothing is done and it’s become incredibly clear that they’re focused entirely on grades and nothing is done to ensure manners are taught. If there was an option to give less stars, I would take it in a heart beat. And it’s not even like I am the first to report this issues, multiple other reviews and members of the community report similar instances with the same results, nothing being done. So don’t waste your time here unless you want your children to be incredibly rude and arrogant

There is a clear aphorrid management of students. Several students have gone out of their way to vandalise and steal from shops all across from Southbourne. The ypocrisy of the school is no better, on the website it informs parents and guardians that it instills behaviour and management upon the students; yet, the only behaviour and management I see is vandalism and organisd crime. Truly the students need some serious discipline and punishment for what is essentially theft.
