Had 2 babies here. One in December 2020 and another one April 2023. Both times had an elective cesarean section. From the start till the end of our stay me and my baby were very well taken care of. Especially thanks to anaesthesiologists in a theatre who were so friendly and had a perfect sense of humour, I was very well informed about what they were doing and whatโs their next steps was. Surgeons done an amazing job too as my cesarean was repeated they made sure to do the incision on the old scar. Midwifes at Abbey Wing were very professional too. Thank you St Peters hospital maternity ward. You all done amazing job.

Had my second baby here in February 2022. The midwife team couldnโt have been more attentive or supportive. I had a wonderful experience. It was also my second c-section which was so much better second time round (first at a different hospital). Thank you to everyone there.

Worst week of our life. Our baby was born with a bit of jaundice, so had to stay under a special light for a couple of days. My wife was worried because it was cold, specially at night and the nurses and midwifes only told her that the baby had to be only with her nappie and talking to my wife in a very rude way like she was a crazy psicotic mum. After 2 days a nurse realized they did not plug the heater which that bed with the special light actually had, demonstrating that half of the staff was in fact highly incompetent. Not to mention the lack of respect, information and support my wife received. Begging all the time for help and information about breast feeding and the condition of the baby, information that she never had. Thank God Google and YouTube exists.

In February I gave birth to my first baby in this hospital, there was a problem with the baby and I gave birth by cesarean section. When I arrived at the hospital, the doctors and midwifes responded quickly and were very caring and kind. I'm grateful to all the doctors who took care of me and my baby. Thanks to them, my baby is now alive and well.

I've been here and on Heron Ward for a week and a half. I have tibial plateau fracture/break and fibula fracture/break. I have totally smashed the very top of the tibia and fibula bones where the junction of the knee is. I've had to be put in a Llizarov frame to stabilise the joint to enable it to heal. Sine I've been here I have received exemplary care totally wonderful. The Nurses sisters hca's ward staff and doctors and everyone here have done all they can to help and support. I did get my teddy bear brought up to me. The extra comfort is always needed in hospital.
