I visited St Peter’s in Drayton/Farlington with my cat Oscar. Jo, the receptionist, invited me to attend immediately as Oscar was clearly unwell. We were seen by a vet who I believe was Jacqueline, she was introduced as “the queen of cats” by her colleague. I was extremely reassured by the vet’s thorough examination of Oscar. She was kind and gentle as she explained throughout her thoughts and reasoning. We discussed options and her honesty and candour helped me in making the heartbreaking decision that Oscar should be put to sleep. Jacqueline went above and beyond to ensure I understood all factors pertaining to Oscar’s illness (his condition, discomfort and possible procedures that were available). I felt incredibly supported in my decision and was able to have time with Oscar which meant a great deal. I feel such gratitude to Jacqueline and Jo as their love of animals is so clear. Their transparency and dedication to animals and their owners is clear. I cannot recommend St Peter’s highly enough and my gratitude for these amazingly caring and knowledgeable professionals is immense. You have made such a heartbreaking time more bearable and I thank you so very much.

I've been using St Peters in Horndean and Petersfield for over 8 years.. Really polite and caring vets.. I woud highly recommend those two branches.. However, their latest edition in Farlington is not up to the same levels.. I've had issues with the staff. It stemmed from the canadian vet and a mask incident.. I didn't have a mask on.. So I said hold the dog and i'll get the mask.. 3 times she repeated it whilst i was trying to get her to hold the dog.. My dog doesn't like going to the Vet and was clearly stress.. Yet she kept prattling on about the mask..left her with the dog got the mask.. Came back. Sat down and said to the dog.. 'IT's ok I don't like it here either'.. Ever since I've had the following.. Jo the receptionist doesn't respond if i speak.. Just looks through me.. The other vet there.. misdiagnosed my dogs heart condition.. Missing the tumour and causing me to pay for £200 worth of tablets that were't required. I never said anything about the failed diagnosis.. . I just took my dog to have a rescan and they found the tumour (In Petersfield).. Took my dog in to get her eye seen to. The Vet took great delight in telling me the eye had to come out.. and then told me a false precedure.. she told me there would be tubing to come out 2 weeks after the eye operation.. That never happened.. It was just the one op.. She did it to upset me.. My pet is a family member and this woman took delight in upsetting me.. because I said I didn't like that branch.. Well here's your review Farlington.. Very professional of you.. Be careful what you say in farlington ... They may get their own back when you are at your most vulnerable. P.S I did contact you on your email you gave below 3 weeks ago.. But you never responded... Customer Care at it[s finest...

Sadly met under horrendous circumstances but made leaving my fur son with you to make his final journey very easing. I will be in contact tomorrow to arrange collection of him and settling the payment for the emergency situation I never wanted to be in. Thank you for being so kind and helpful. Very friendly staff who did the best for my boy. You have one of the hardest jobs in the world.
