Very handy for blood tests and small procedures, especially when it avoids the mammoth effort required for a Broomfield visit. You are taken back in time to a proper Victorian red brick hospital, which looks great from the road. However it is poorly maintained, boarded up and deteriorating beyond that. Chronic underfunding is apparent everywhere. Which is a shame because the staff are good and the service is great.

Even though my son is nearly 2, I feel like I have to still leave a review for the amazing birthing ward at St Peters. I didn't have my son at St Peters but had many check ups at the St Peters ward when I was pregnant and was always treated amazingly. After having my son at Broomfield, I went to St Peters to recieve help with breast feeding and was there for one night and I can't fault any thing. The postnatal ward was very quiet, very clean and relaxing and the midwives were just amazing and helped me and my son so much. I am hoping if me and my partner decide to have another child, we can have them at the birthing unti at St Peters.
