Oh my goodness, what a place! I believe the interior was (significantly) revamped relatively recently. The organ remains wonderful, but the nave is almost radical in its simplicity. (This appeals to me as a committed atheist 😉). A raised section of flooring at nave (floor) height projects into the main church. On this occasion it was an excellent stage for a multi-media song & dance show, but I imagine it would make for spectacular viewing & photography for a traditional wedding. Seating is moveable, (quite comfortable) chairs rather than traditional (bone breaking) pews. Clearly a well thought out, tasteful modernisation of the floor space. Modern kitchen & toilets (inc. accessible) available, with a mezzanine above. To me, this seemed an incredibly usable space, unlike any 'traditional' parish church. Wonderful.
