Large Roman Catholic cemetery in east London. Lots of graves and memorials of all sizes crowded in - so I’m guessing this has been in use for quite some time. Can be difficult to move between the graves, particularly for the less mobile, as some are so close together. There is small, well maintained toilet block for visitors. Generally well maintained and clean.

My father is buried here, as is his father mother and sister… my father was an international boxer, which is reflected on his grave… when he was young he got in a lift with a comedian/ actor of the day Vic Oliver who was married to Sarah Churchill, Winston Churchill’s daughter, and asked if he could become a jockey… atm Mr Vic Oliver was producing a play… the News of the world caught onto the story and incorporated the show’s title to my father’s question.. Alas he did become a jockey and he also dined with Sarah Churchill… As you can imagine I’m very proud of my dad who boxed for Repton and was a devout catholic… god bless you always daddy x (Mr Anthony Johnson)

Very Peaceful, I visited here to look for a headstone, I called at the office to enquire about a map to help me, and they could not have been kinder or more helpful, providing me with a map of the cemetery, a look at a burial register and also providing a guide to show me where I needed to go, excellent service and much appreciated as it would have taken me a long time to find what I was looking for without their help. Thank You

Nice quiet catholic cemetery, good for a walk and with some impressive headstones, got locked in by accident and had to vault the wall at the back, felt like a teenager.
