St Pancras public drinking water fountain, perfect for re-filling water bottles for free! Handily located just off Euston Road between St Pancras and King’s Cross London railway stations. The historic drinking fountain has been recently restored (May 2018) as part of St Pancras Railway Station 150th anniversary celebrations. It’s built from Portland stone and pink granite that are set into the side of the St Pancras International on Pancras Road. The fountain was originally installed by the Temperance movement in the 1870’s to provide Londoners a healthy choice to beer! And also saved many lives, providing clean fresh drinking water during serious chloral epidemics across Victorian London. Now serving free fresh drink water to all.
