Holidaying in Alstonefield and had an issue which needed medical help. Went in and registered at reception, which was quickly done. Sat down and had to wait 5 minutes, saw a lovely nurse who gave me some stronger antibiotics and all sorted in 15 minutes. Can’t thank St Oswald’s enough for making, what I thought would be a difficult situation, into something that was dealt with very professionally and quickly.

Brought my wife and son to visit their dying mother/grandmother up from London. Only two "visitors allowed at the time" I was told. "There is a room near the entrance". So I went and sat there for an hour and then an officious nurse told me that I wasn't allowed to sit in this EMPTY room. I needed to go further down the corridor (hard chairs) or sit in my car.
