Both of our kids went to St Nicholas, and both still talk about it and the staff there years later. A really friendly easy going pre school, all the staff are amazing and Wendy makes sure everyday is new and exciting for them. Looking into the windows in the morning, at the efforts of all the days activity's set up prior, was so exciting for the kids. Very imaginative, fun, and the reason our girl is so creative. I Highly recommend and miss this school.. keep up the great work.

St. Nicholas is a truly lovely pre-school that offers a great foundation for my children's growth and development. From the moment you step through the doors, you can feel the positive and nurturing atmosphere from Mrs. Ormesher and the team. The teachers are all warm, friendly and they take a genuine interest in each of the children. My children love the curriculum at St. Nicholas and having two very different kids attend at the same time we can see that it’s tailored to meet the needs of each individual child. The pre-school has become a second home to our children and provides a safe, fun and stimulating environment with great facilities. The rooms are bright & spacious, well-equipped and have a dedicated outdoor play area - the setting is also second to none being right next to Hengistbury Head! I heartily recommend St. Nicholas and if you are looking for early years in the BH6 area then definitely give them a call.

We would highly recommend St Nicholas Pre-School. It is a lovely friendly setting which the children clearly enjoy attending, there's always morning smiles on their way in. The teachers are wonderful and our boys adore them. My eldest was quite shy so we thought it would be good for him to meet some other St Katharine's classmates before starting school, this couldn't have worked out any better! By the time he started school he wasn't shy anymore and had 12 friends to start school with! We are very grateful to Mrs Ormesher and the other teachers (Kay, Miles and Harris) for the fantastic care and support they have given out children. We are already looking forward to enrolling our little girl once she is old enough 🙂

Our daughter joined St Nicholas 2 years ago. In that time she has progressed in so many ways, thanks to the caring and considerate nature of all the staff who work at St Nicholas. There is a real family atmosphere at the nursery and all the children get the necessary time and attention they deserve. Kate looks forward to going every morning and she has made lots of friends, all thanks to the lovely environment created by Wendy and her team. My children both loved their time at St Nicholas’ pre School! My son, now 8, still points to the building, on our way to school, and says, “I miss my pre school!” The staff are very caring and treat each child like their own. My daughter now attends and gets upset when it’s not her day to go! She can’t wait when it’s a ‘play school’ day! She runs in and comes out so happy, telling me all about the activities she has been doing and the friends she has. I would recommend this pre school whole heartedly.
