The church is distinctive and feels very welcoming to the community. Famous for the ten bells. It is Grade I listed a building of exceptional interest. The tower is Norman and the nave aisles date from around 1400. The chapels and chancel are 14th Century, then 16th century additions. There is a noted 15th century rood screen which extends across the whole width of the nave and side aisles – the full width of the church.

My daughter was married here. The Priest and Verger went out of their way to make this a memorable service and it was a wonderful Wedding Service in a beautiful church
