What lovely English Parish Church. I would love to be able to say typical, but, unfortunately they are becoming very hard to find. A very nice area close to the sea side. For those interested there are some people of interest including David Purley GM the former soldier, formula 1 racing driver and acrobatic pilot.

St Nicholas is an attractive old church with a lychgate, which makes a pleasant stop on a circular walk from the harbour. It was founded around 1175 by Hugh Esturmy, who was given permission by the Bishop of Chichestor to build a church in West Itchenor. It is usually open so you can walk inside anytime.
