Completely regret sending my daughter to this school and I wish I took her complaining a bit more seriously. She was called names by the teacher publicly and I tried to raise a complaint with the headteacher and he did not bother to respond so I am contacting the department of education. They clearly have a habit and culture of silencing anyone that brings up a negative light on the school. This school is basically about the elite and don’t really give you the support if you’re struggling and you’re kind of expected to get on with it and find help elsewhere. All the other schools have a focus timetable, exam practice and even Saturday sessions two weeks before GCSE, where St.Michael thinks it’s a good idea just to send everyone home for the 2 weeks to study !! They basically treat you like a chewing gum after they’re finished with you they just spit you out. My daughter didn’t end up getting the A grades required and she was simply told to go to the local council website to look at her options !! Basically we’re no longer going to invest a minute on you. Do your daughter a favour and avoid !!
