Beautiful church in beautiful surroundings, small parking area near to the River Wharfe for about 10 cars. Church building is mainly from the 12th century and has a rare wooden rood loft, also burial place of JB Priestley.

A pleasant old church, with some genuinely interesting and unusual features. It feels untampered with. There’s a spiritual atmosphere, with signs warning visitors away from the altar replaces the old rood’s function. Some Christian reading material to take away would be welcome.
