An amazing piece of history over the last 900 years, with some beautiful paintings on the wall that were hidden by the reformation and then uncovered later on... If you are lucky, one of the friendly volenteers will show you up the bell tower. Well worth a visit.

This Norman church is famous for it’s murals which were re-discovered during the 20th Century, and the altar stone was discovered buried in the churchyard in the mid 1960’s. The clock on the tower is a recent addition too, it was a legacy from one of the parishioners, left in her will. I remember growing up in Brook during the 1950’s and there was no clock on the tower back then.
