Our Perfect Day in a Perfect Venue. The history of the building was a real selling point and went perfectly with the theme we had in our minds before any real planning took place. The Gardens set a fantastic scene for Photo’s with a beautiful view of Canterbury Cathedral, and the size of the rooms for the guest numbers we expected made the day feel comfortable and intimate. From our first meeting with Sean at the venue we knew this was the place to have our wedding. On the build up to the day from a year out Sean allowed us to make our own decisions, but was always on hand to offer advice or sort any details however small or large, his advice on the caterers for the day (Pomegranate) was outstanding, the food was a hit with all and James who we dealt with was also very receptive to our needs. On the few weeks leading up to the ‘big day’ Sean really came through with what may seem minor details for some, but meant a lot to us both, like something as simple as arranging a comfy chair for a member of family that is currently ill. On the day he was on hand to gently push us in the right direction and ensure that our guests were happy and comfortable and was brilliantly reactive when we needed him. We could not have asked for better service from Sean and his team. The feedback from our family and friends regarding the venue was all positive, the outside bar in the Garden came in very useful as the weather treated us well and drinks in the sunny afternoon post ceremony made the day that bit more special. Although the venue can appear to be small compared to others with the numbers that are advised it’s more than comfortable with plenty of space to eat, chat & dance. Also, the added room available for a breakout really came in handy to store gifts, flowers and Small Bridesmaids when they needed some time away from the crowds. All in all, for us, 10 out 10. The day was just the perfect start to our life together.

Cannot recommend this venue enough, I would put it higher than 10 stars. It was a beautiful wedding held on the 23rd August 2019. Sean and his team made everything just perfect with their unobtrusive attention. They were second to none, and made it all exactly as the Bride & Groom wished it to be. All who attended commented on the beautiful surroundings, the informality and elegance of it all and the scrumptious catering and attention they received. Thank you so very much for making the day such a perfect one.
