Last week I attended a fast tracked ultra sound appointment at St Margaret’s Hospital, my 3rd visit to the hospital in the last 3 years and each time it is a positive experience. The nurses and receptionist are super professional and polite, my appointments have always been on time (sometimes even early) and seamless.

Just spoke to THE RUDEST lady on the phone for the CRS. The physio service was recommended by a friend so I called the number I found online and said “good afternoon, I’ve not used this service before so I’m not sure how it works but I’m pregnant and I’ve got pain in my hip and I was hoping you could help me”. The miserable woman on the other end said “sorrrrryyyy, this is the central referral service??!!!” And continued to pretend she had no idea why on Earth I was calling her and make it very clear I had inconvenienced her. Rude rude rude should not be working with people. Cannot be blamed on a bad day, the lady is miserable, rude and in the wrong job.

Radiology department seems well run. I attended the walk in service mid morning and did not have to wait long to be seen despite it being busy. Reception staff are friendly, kind and helpful and radiographers are polite, efficient and professional. The building is quite old and the decor needs some attention.

Had my bloods done there for the first time, lady who took my blood was young and wore bit too much make up (thought nurses have to fit in some sort of standards when it comes to that). When she took the needle out felt like she scrapped me inside ( done my best not to scream) and she have not applied any pressure nor asked me to hold my finger on the cotton ball as they normaly do, she just put the plaster with a cotton ball and told me its all done. Struggled to drive, when i got home i have looked at my arm and it was all swollen and sore. Had my bloods done on the 12th of January, today is the 22nd and my arm still sore and blue. They should train their staff properly. Was hoping to attach the picture of my arm but it won't let me
