From the moment I had my initial consultation with Bailey there was no doubt in my mind that investing in her service was going to be worth every penny and it was. Unfortunately due to how stretched the NHS is I wanted to ensure I had the best support during my pregnancy and beyond, unlike the NHS where you might see a different midwife throughout your journey Bailey’s regular visits became something we looked forward to. Bailey understood us as a couple and was therefore able to help to empower us to make informed choices that were right for us whilst always making us feel supported and at ease. I ended up having an easy pregnancy with not as many worries as I perhaps thought I might in the early days but Bailey was always available to answer any questions or concerns, no matter how big or small. We valued her expertise and knowledge especially the guidance on hypnobirthing & breast feeding. Post birth we’d have been completely lost without Bailey, again regular visits, thorough checks of our little boy, breast feeding advice the list goes on! Thanks again Bailey we are also so grateful to have had you along the journey with us. Lyndsey, Grant & Theo

So before I share my story, let me start by saying, I wouldn’t have survived without Bailey. Period. Being a so called “geriatric” mother, I’ve been very anxious about the whole experience from antenatal to postnatal. Worrying about all aspects of things leading up to labour, plus there are things that I don’t know what I don’t know, so I really wanted to have someone close by that I can rely on and seek help and support. This is where I came across Bailey and her private midwife service. Bailey offered an initial consultation, where I was put to ease immediately. She really listened to my needs and worries at the time of our discussion and her service is very much tailored approach which is what I hoped for. Even though I booked Bailey for the postnatal care, Bailey was there for me leading up to the labour, especially during some really stressful time where I needed to talk to someone whilst in the induction ward. After my daughter was born, Bailey provided much needed guidance and support during the early weeks of the postnatal period. It was very overwhelming experience at the beginning for me both physically and emotionally, so Bailey was holding my hand all the way, making sure the wellbeing of both my daughter and myself. ‘Taking one step at the time and making small wins every day’, is what Bailey used to say to me, her encouragement and support is what saw me through at the beginning of the postnatal period. Beside the emotional support, Bailey has been wonderful in providing breastfeeding support too, who also provided a starter kit for me to use. She worked with me and helped me with everything relating to breastfeeding, she was very knowledgeable and very good at dealing with my concerns. Above all, Bailey has been wonderful caring for my little one too, every visit, she does all the checks and record them accurately, which shows her professionalism to do things right. Most importantly, she really cared, and really listened! In the 8 weeks, I went from extremely anxious new mother to a growing confident mother, all thanks to Bailey. Her guidance, care and support gave us an excellent start as a family unit, for which we are truly grateful of her service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bailey and her service to anyone. Worth every penny!

Bailey is a private midwife like no other! She has been completely available throughout my whole pregnancy and after the birth of my daughter too. She’s so knowledgeable, approachable and genuinely caring and has the patience of a saint! She understands the mindset of anxious, hormonal women and knows how to set your mind at ease and answers the most weird and wonderful questions you can think of with kindness and compassion. No question is too silly and no worry too small and I found her a particularly useful resource when we had an early scare and she helped me to stay calm, take the correct action and advocate for myself when needed. All in all a wonderful private midwife, it felt like I had my best friend by side through this whole crazy journey into motherhood!

Bailey is the midwife I want by my side throughout pregancy, during birth and postnatally. Her reassurance, availability and empowerment at providing choices, enabled me to have the birth I wanted despite some unexpected changes. Her breastfeeding advice following birth was invaluable and she was alongside me cheering as I experienced all the highs and lows of entering motherhood. Thank you for your continued support.

Bailey helped and advise me towards the end stages of my first pregnancy and was exactly the calm and reassuring voice that I needed. Bailey helped me keep believing that my body was strong and built to birth naturally and that the baby would come when he was ready. Sure enough, at 42 weeks my little baby boy was born, with no medical intervention. Thank you for your support and belief Bailey.
