We went un for my sons christening the staff at the church and the vicar was lovely. Just all seemed a bit rushed. That was the only downside

What a wonderful place. They restored my faith in human nature today after a really rubbish day yesterday. Me and my dog had a wonderful lunch of homemade vegetable soup, a cheese roll, home made flap jack and a cup of tea. It is pay what you can, so I made a donation in the box, but they also have a card machine. Thank you so much to you all xxx

Not a very friendly place to visit and experience the cafe, from the outset me and my wife were greeted with suspicion And an unfriendly atmosphere, even though we were dressed well and clean etc. The cup of tea was nice but the ham roll was rank and after one bite had to be binned, either the bun or the plastic ham had gone off. Also she forgot to include the banana cake I chose, never mind. Needless to say, I won't be coming back.
