Beautiful place for a retreat. Wonderful scenery, great food. House full of history feels like stepping into another less stressful more peaceful place and time. Though a few corridors etc seem to be in need of some TLC you can see that the areas already restored have been treated with care and that there appears to be discrete work in progress to restore the remaining parts. Nothing noisy or intrusive was done during our stay.
