Long time member of this tennis club, super inclusive, family friendly and lots going on in terms of coaching, matches, tournaments and social events. Very welcoming to new members of all ages and abilities. The addition of the two new grass courts as well as the existing 4 hard courts provides good variety for play and caters for the consistently busy club. JTS provides excellent coaching both indoors at the sports centre and outside at the club.

This club has had the same committee members for years. I was a member for quite some time and there was no progression or improvements with the clubhouse or the courts. The club is mainly members 40 yrs and up so implementing a grass court with high maintenance costs wasnāt āConduciveā to members fees and their physical abilities to play on a grass court. Aside from Steve Jarrett the coaching is outdated and the club is reticent to move on with more progressive coaching programs and fresh ideas. This club is insular, unfriendly and will discard you if you voice your thoughts. A turn over of the Dead wood running the club would move this club into the 21st century.
