Local fish and chips at a very affordable price. Sadly, one of the few remaining Fish and Chips shops in the town centre but a good one at that. Furthermore, if you would like to sit down and eat your meal, there is a very clean and private restaurant situated there, that also provides table service at a very reasonable cost. THIS RESTAURANT IS NOW CLOSED!

Wish I could give them a minus rating. Ordered 2 vegan sausage meal deals, they gave me 2 vegan sausages but only one chips and sauce (I paid for 2 of everything). Women said on the phone I only paid for one, but if you do the addition it’s clear I paid for 2 of everything. Then to top it off I got given pork sausages instead of vegan ones (found out by biting into it). I definitely ordered vegan as I always triple check. They denied all responsibility and wouldn’t do anything about it, please just stay away!! Absolutely disgusting 🤮

I used to come here a lot back in the late 80s and in fact I knew the lad who's family ran it back then. I remember the fish being exceptional - one of the things I missed most when I moved away all those years ago - and the steak pie which was home made and came in massive slabs was amazing too. So it was disappointing to return some thirty years later to find it drab and miserable. My fish and chips (definitely not the haddock I was expecting) was a far cry from what I remembered. The chips were pretty good, but the fish had a tang of ammonia and sure enough, as I grimly predicted at the time, gave me a nasty stomach upset. Its sad to see Grimsby's once stellar fish and chip tradition going so badly south.
