FAQ
What is the church's statement of faith?
At St James and Emmanuel Parish, our statement of faith is rooted in the Bible and the historic Creeds of the Christian faith. We believe in one God, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, his death and resurrection, and his eventual return. We also believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to transform lives and guide the Church. Are there any programs available for children or youth?
Yes, we offer a variety of programs and activities for children and youth at St James and Emmanuel Parish. Our Sunday School program provides age-appropriate education for children, and we also have youth groups and other events throughout the year. We are committed to helping children and youth grow in their faith and become active members of our church community. What is your stance on social issues and how does it align with my personal beliefs?
As an Episcopal Church, we are committed to social justice and working for the common good. We believe in the dignity and worth of every person, and we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive community that reflects this belief. While we may not all agree on every issue, we are committed to respectful dialogue and working together to create positive change in the world. What is the process for becoming a member of your Episcopal Church?

We believe that the Bible has the power to transform lives and shape the way we live and interact with the world around us.Reviews

From a theological point of view I feel that this 1 church has become quite liberal in the last few years particularly on the issues of the lb GT movement. It seems that it is trying to be all things to all men and not preaching the pure gospel and pure Bible message as a church it badly needs decorating inside and this was last on 30 years ago go and it definitely looks like it needs a coat of paint and doing up again. A few years ago they had a tragic episode with a former church member and and they went the opposite way completely in response to this rather and having a measured response and a carefully considered response It needs to get back to preaching Gods word
