Still has not opened since COVID lockdown, apparently they are doing a refurbishment. Everyone is expected to travel to Sparkbook 4 miles away to see a doctor, that is of course if you can get an appointment.

I think this is the most appalling practice I have ever had the misfortune of visiting. 1. Pre - Covid Nigh on impossible to get appointment for my 87 year old mother who had a severe infection. She was told to wait 3 weeks. After a long argument with the receptionist the Dr eventually “found” an appointment. We had to sit in the filthy dour waiting room for at least 40 minutes. In the time that we were there 3 people without appointments arrived & were sent straight in!! 2. Constantly getting prescriptions either wrong or missing & not sending to pharmacist 3. Now told mum who doesn’t drive has to go to Sparkhill from Kings Heath presumably on a bus in the middle of a pandemic 4. Can not now even speak to a Dr - sent to a practitioner who seems unable to make decisions I am astounded this practice is still open

Very poor service! I called the surgery today and wanted to make an appointment to see a doctor. Here is what I found out of their new policy: 1. You book a telephone appointment to speak to a practitioner (not a doctor, they give me an appointment more than 3 weeks later!!!) 2. If the practitioner can not resolve your problem, he/she will allow the doctor to telephone you. 3. Then the doctor will decide if you will be seen.

Today I went to pick up a repeat prescription that turned out to be completely the wrong medication. I haven't had a high opinion of this practice before but it's even less so now. Prescribing the wrong medication is an unforgivable and unacceptable medical error. Just gobsmacked at the lack of care and lack of reaction when I confronted staff about it. Just poor and unacceptable service.

PLEASE DON’T GO HERE! I had a parasite sample sent to the lab and the doctor told me the result should be back in 2 days, called the receptionist, she was rude and was telling me to wait 10 days before calling back! I told her it was sent as an emergency and the doctor told me to call, she was telling me off :/ WTF who is the doctor?

Awful place I can’t even bring myself to call it a surgery. I can guarantee sadly some people will die waiting for an appointment as either there are none available or staff have messed it up again. Therefore you have to wait another four weeks to be seen, even though you have already booked and waited four weeks for the original in the first place. I am unsure how running this place is so difficult as it must be with the amount of errors. Another really concerning point is they are not open when they should be..... closing early on a Monday night or even not opening at all? I have written a number of complaints hoping that points will be taken on board and for things to improve, however I am faced with no ownership and often with rude replies. The place was not like this several years ago and it is heartbreaking to see how bad it is has become. Clearly I would of liked to issue no stars for this review.
