Travelling solo and stayed here for a few nights. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. With the breakfast and bar downstairs it makes it easy to meet other people. Happy the beds had curtains and and a cage to store your belongings. The beds were also very comfortable for being dorm style. Location is perfect for transport and good food spots 👍 Food & drinks: Great deals for guests on food and drink

As most of the visitors to St Christopher's Inn Village hostel (s) are foreign visitors; here is an viewpoint from an English person. Firstly, i am not sure that i agree with ' triple bunk beds ', although i can understand why the hostels might have them. I was on the bottom bunk bed, with limited space; if i remember i will have a middle bunk next time. However, they need to consider the cleaners, they have to change the sheets; a difficult job for them. There was a problem with the door to my room, however i managed to download the app and got into my room that way. I was having a conversation with a member of staff about having a good ' temperament ' in all walks of life; particularly if one wants to become an astronaut. Always important to keep a cool head at all times. The shower, on the first floor, was so powerful; there might have been enough propulsion to have launched a small rocket! So, i would advise that their maintenance look at the showers and the doors. Nevertheless, a fun atmosphere ( excuse the pun! ) and i was very impressed with the reception staff; all very friendly. Safety: The triple bunks; i am not sure they are safe

I’ve had a great time staying in the pod room of this hostel. Whenever I’ve sat to eat in the table in the room, I’ve met really cool people whom I ended up hanging out with around London. For those experiences I have really happy memories of this hostel. But it was a bit annoying that the accessible toilet was often dirty, and at one point I couldn’t find any toilet paper in any of the toilets on my floor or on the two floors above me. I told the front desk and they took care of it pretty quickly, though. There’s a chill out room with laundry machines (two dryers and two washers), which aren’t really advertised, so take advantage of that. Keep in mind you will be hearing booming music from the bar, at least from the first floor, which isn’t a problem for me personally but might bother lighter sleepers. The hostel isn’t cheap, but the location is really great, right across Borough market. It’s on a really busy street, which can get annoying but will definitely give you the big city experience.
