Never used the Centre myself, but it’s convenient for out of hour service. For example if you need to see a doctor urgently over the weekends can’t to be seen by a GP until Monday. On street pay and display/ by app parking available outside the main gate to the hospital. The centre is available locate within St Charles hospital which is mental Health one. It’s first right after enter the main entrance.

Really recommend this facility. Nurse practitioners are calm, experienced and caring. Had a very nasty accident on tube last week and was dealt with thoroughly and with compassion. Also suggested follow up actions. Even got a follow up call the next morning. That was really nice but also helpful because it provided practical advice for day to day management of pain and stuff like getting washed and dressed. Have used in the past to good effect as well. Complete contrast to dire experience at A&E in another hospital the previous evening which would have meant a five hour wait had I stayed around!

Excellent facility. I cut my hand last week and required stitches. After attempting to receive care from a separate a&e hospital, where the wait time was so bad that I left, I came to St Charles and received highly efficient and thorough care. The staff were professional and compassionate, ensuring that I received x-rays and the necessary tests, rather than just stitching me up as quickly as possible. Wait times were minimal and the facility itself was clean and nice.

This used to be a very good walk in centre. Unfortunately on Friday with a very painful knee I hobbled up there to meet a very sour nurse who did not even look at my knee only felt it and said it needed physio and exercise and she would try to get a doctor to see me. I said it didn't need physio and exercise as the painful click which I got came from exercise. They used to have nice staff there but unfortunately not the case now. Need to have a think about their staff. I walked off in disgust. After feeling very unwell over the weekend I did manage to get a call to my doctor and he saw me. I do in fact have a cartilage problem with the knee which I have been advised will get better over time. So they seriously need to have a rethink about the staff they employ there, not a rude offhand nurse who cannot even be bothered to look at someones injury. Her advice completely wrong. Not happy

I've just had need to use this centre due to an accidental head injury. The service delivered by the team on duty was outstanding and second to non. I was lucky that it was relatively quiet but even so we arrived quite close to the last admission time and I was treated and patched up in a timely manor once all necessary tests were carried out. I was given advice of what to keep an eye on in the following hours and days. The very best example of our brilliant NHS. Thank you
