Been withe surgery a while now , (i came from Langton, i never thought i would leave there, but it became the worst surgery i have ever known) Darwin have always been Friendly, helpful and understanding. There was an issue with one receptionist a while back she left, the only issue I have found now is another receptionist i think comes from the other surgery, she is letting the friendly helpful side of the team down. With my dealings with her she is abrupt, dosnt look you in the eye, and huffs and puffs she comes accross condescending as well. It is a shame because personally i think best GP's in Lichfield

Been down to the Practice this morning to register myself and my husband as we have moved to the area. What a pleasure to speak with Ben on reception. I was greeted with a smile and welcome and he went through the paperwork in a professional manner. His colleague (sorry I don’t know your name) a lady working along side him , was equally friendly and it was evident they enjoyed working there supporting each other. Hope this reflects the experience we can look forward to in future. Many thanks for making us welcome.

Absolutely great surgery I've met most of the doctor's who work there and they have always been helpful and as for getting an appointment if it's serious they will get you in on that day but if you want to see a specific doctor you have to book an appointment which could be a week or so but even still I think that's great service and the receptionist's are pleasant and really helpful it's the best doctors in the area 👌👌👌👍👍👍

To be fair it’s the best doctors in the area. You can get an appointment that day if it’s urgent, the old receptionists gave it a bad name, but the news ones are really nice and helpful.

since joining the practice I have not been able to fault them, (I came from Langton, trust me anything is better) Yes there are times when it can be hard to get through, yes some appts seem along way in advance, but in my experience if its an appt, that is urgent they will get you in at one of the surgeries. Some people can be very picky and only want to see a particular GP, but if its urgent then surly any GP will do, or see the prescribers , Nurse, etc, they often can do just as much and what they cant do will refer u to the gp with an appt. There will always be issues with what ever surgery you decide to go. You will like some Gp's some nurses, some receptionists, most of us have heard the jokes about receptionist, but one thing about St, Chads it stayed open albeit on restricted service throughout the pandemic, how many other surgeries did that?

After not being allowed into Langton and 6 months of calling (sometime 400 times a day) and still not getting an appointment I swapped to Darwin. I walked “inside” and was welcomed by great staff (unlike the frosty Langton staff) and they helped me swap there and then and gave me an appointment too. I was going on holiday and they rang me to rush me in for injections (Langton refused me a routine cancer check) and on another call when I asked to change medication for my arthritis in knees I was immediately invited in for some steroid injections. Amazing service so far
