I had the same issue as everyone else. although, I had made the parking payment but according to them it still wasn’t within the ‘10 min window’. They didn’t accept my appeal, ended up in court but they cowardly pulled out last minute.

Do not use this car park. I purchased a ticket and displayed it correctly. 3 weeks after using I got a PCN through. Fortunately I still had the ticket in my car and sent a scan to the company to get the charge cancelled. No apology, no reason as to why the PCN was raised. Impossible to speak to anyone. Total try on on the hope that the ticket had been thrown away. Avoid.

Cowboys. They will issue fines with insufficient evidence hoping that you lose your ticket. They don't seem to abide by the 10 minute grace period even though they're "a member a of the British parking association". DO NOT PARK HERE there is plenty of free street parking in Headlingly.

Paid for parking on the phone. Process took 23 mins which automatically generates a £100 fine (after 10 mins of being in the carpark). The provider also failed to take payment although the process had been completed and confirmation sent. Appeal was declined. Re appealed through POPLA which was successful. Dishonest system which causes unnecessary stress and time wasting.

I had the same experience as many others who have reviewed this car park. Had to pay by phone as I had no cash, I was on the phone giving car, bank and site details for over 6 minutes. I assumed therefore I had paid, I then got a parking notice a couple of weeks later, checked bank account and no payment had been taken. I appealed using phone history and this was rejected and I have had to pay the fine. This is a ridiculous situation where parking for 2 hours costs £100.

The signage on the main road is covered with a shrub branch. A very acute angle to enter in this small car park. Difficult to park in some places there and the time taken to park in and out may get you fine, so have to include that in your parking ticket. People use this as shortcut walking path. The paying machine is old.

Absolute con - a system is in place where you have to pay over the phone (within a 10 minute window) however system is set-up so it purposefully takes longer or doesn't work. And then you get up to £100 fine. Cowboys

Immoral, greedy and utterly disgraceful is how I would describe the owners of this car park. I registered my phone and card details which took 5 minutes. I confirmed payment on the phone. But then, you have to confirm by text as well! For some reason, the text wouldn't send and went through after the 10 minutes. It told me to call a number and pay, so I did - parking confirmed for 2 hours. I was parked for 1 hour and a half. 2 weeks later, £100(!) fine sent through my door. I appealed internally, explaining the situation where I couldn't have done anything more and had paid the ticket. They rejected the appeal. Disgusting people. Don't park here.

A word of advice for anyone using this car park, take cash and do not use the phone payment service, it takes ages to set up and the phone line breaks up and if it takes longer than I think 10 mins like it did for me you will be fined £100, however this is not down to the owner but CE, if this happens to you and all the your efforts fail follow POPLA guidelines and if you have to contact the owner as I did they were very helpful and true to there word, just be warned pay with cash
