A truly great Catholic primary school which does it's very best to uphold british values. Credit to Mrs Johnson, she does an amazing job and clearly has a wonderful and hard working team behind her. Far better than the Miss Krilly days!

Iadvice not to send your children to this school as the staff/teachers is very rude to parents and also the children they call this school a Catholic SCHOOL NOWAY that is all fake to make the school look good..I feel the school need to be inspected by the local authority as the teaching and disciplineing the children can have a big impact on them the amount of children that has left in 2021 shows how bad the school is and also if you ever have a complaint about some thing noting wil get done..the most unprofessional school in redbridge

not a great school. Food is horrible and yet they don't do anything about it. The events are a scam, even a teacher admitted the school was poor which was very embarrassing. I don't recommend coming to this school..! As your stay wont be as expected.

This school has influenced my views and ways of approaching things. Some positively, and predominantly in a negative way. The school facilities are alright, and the social events can be enjoyable. But I will be focusing on two main points: 1 - Teaching Styles and Overall Perception of Them 2 - Teachers and Mental Well-being (from personal experience) 1) Teaching Styles The teaching styles at SSPP can vary. At times, it can be very useful, but at other times not. Let me elaborate. STEM subjects such as Science and English are taught nicely, particularly Biology. English is a subject that is personally an easy topic for me, but regardless, the teaching styles are nice. However, teaching styles for subjects such as Maths and Physics need to improve. As a student who could have improved in effort despite paying attention in lessons, I will be honest and state that compared to the secondary I attend now and this school, the teaching styles have improved vastly. The secondary I go to has more difficult work, but I still have the confidence and understanding in subjects I wasn't very comfortable in, and in general, confidence in contributing in lesson and feeling happier to attend school. This links to my second point. 2) Teachers and Mental Well-being Here comes the wordy bit. As a student who has attended here from reception to my last year, I believe that this factor is extremely disregarded. Not necessarily disregarded, just in need of more ACTUAL attention. Several assemblies/workshops focus on this, but some teachers don't. In year 4, my mental state was not the highest, and my year 4 teacher had very little - if not, none - sympathy on me. Several appointments with my parents took place, and there was still no improvement. Perhaps it was the little communication or maybe the favoritism, but nonetheless, nothing was helping. I soon began to develop many irrational fears of school, and how I did not want at all to attend it, and that deepened the situation to the extent where I could not properly release my feelings in a cathartic way, and soon began to develop many unhealthy ways to approach general things. My mental health began to sink, and many of the unnecessary rules of the school and rude behaviors of some of the teachers did not increase the chances of help either. As soon, as the year passed and I began year 5, I felt much better, and this experience will forever be in my head when I think of this school. A primary school usually develops your mindset and ideology of things, and it is supposed to influence your mind in a healthy way. Well, though I hate to say it, this school did the exact opposite for me. Now, whenever I think of this school, negative things will weigh out all the positives. To sum up, this school is definitely not the best. My apologies for the long review, but I would not recommend this school. Although they have severely impacted me, I believe that they can improve as a school and fix up.
