    I found this company via Facebook and booked a one-off clean which turned in to an absolute disaster. The cleaner literally smashed up my home office causing about £800 worth of damage to my brand new desk, my monitor & door. When I engaged the owner of the company to address this, he was unhelpful, unapologetic and even taunted me that he has an insurance policy but wouldn't use it. No help was offered, not even a partial refund. The response was along the lines of "tough luck". I live in a nice area around the corner from where Squeke are based. I offered for them to come and inspect the damage which they rejected. They seem to think I'm making the whole thing up and have nothing better to do. I managed to get the initial money back through Amex via a chargeback. For the rest of the damages I have gone through the small claims court (Ref: 297MC977) to do my best and recover what I can. Do yourself a favour and give this company a wide berth. I should've listened to Fanis Theodoulou below and chosen another agency. I have zero doubt his experience is anything but legitimate.     The actual cleaning ladies (at least the ones I had) are really good and this review is not a reflection on their work. My review is on squeke as a platform. It’s not customer oriented. Whilst attempting to book, you, as a customer, are under an impression that you are in control over the time and date. So you go ahead and select time and date that’s suitable for you. The system not only allows you to place a booking, but also charges you upfront (certain other app like housekeep only charges after the cleaning ends)! A few hours / days later (depending on how in advance the your cleaning is) you will be contacted by email notifying no cleaners were available on your selected time /day. Then it becomes back and forth communication trying to accommodate to cleaners availability (not customers). So the question arises - what sort of a business is this if they are unable to accommodate to customers selected times /days? Why allow selecting them and, moreover, charge upfront, if you can’t guarantee you’ll be able to accommodate? Had it happened once - I would have brushed it off as a one time off. But it happened 3 times a row now. Clearly they are providing a service that’s not tailored to customers schedule / preferences. Hence it becomes not only time consuming, but also rather annoying.

    Squeke essentially a scam. They received £45 payment for cleaning services, never made me aware that they arrived (no bell ringing, no phone call) and when contacted by email after 2 back and forth communications ghosted me. NOT TRUSTWORTHY. Here is the full story. I booked a cleaner for 15:00-18:00 on a Saturday and paid up front £45 as required. I tried to message the cleaner to confirm the appointment, but no answer was given. The cleaner never turned up at my door. I contacted the Squeke Support Team to see what happened. They had the audacity to tell me that the cleaner arrived at my apartment. No bell rang, no telephone rang (my phone number is available on the app). Apparently they send me an email when the cleaner was “outside my apartment” at 15:14. And they expect me to check my emails on a Saturday every 5 minutes. My flatmate came in at 15:20 and saw noone at the door. The following days I contacted them and after a couple of emails, I requested a refund as I paid for a service that I never received. After two communications back and forth, I send another email waiting for a reply to my refund request. This email was completely ignored. Long story short, do NOT trust this company. It’s a complete scam. I am not even sure they provide cleaning services at this point. Latest Update: They refunded me a third of the price. So, I still ended up with a £30 loss, while they never made me aware they even came at the apartment (if they ever did actually come) and never even tried to clean my apartment. We even have a concierge at the accommodation who could contact me 24/7 if the cleaner requested it. Service: Standard cleaning
