We use this garden centre on a regular basis throughout the year and spend a lot of money there which adds up to a significant amount. Last week we went for more plants and wanted some grit, slate and compost delivering and was told in no uncertain terms that we would need to buy an expensive tree/Plant and they would deliver it altogether. I was absolutely dumbfounded! I don't need anymore trees - which I might add I have previously bought from them! I asked if we could pay for it to be delivered and I was told no - I hadn't spent enough on plants on that occasion and they don't make sufficient on aggregates etc. to make it worth it for them. This is terrible service and sent me straight down to other garden centre in the park who do offer a local delivery service for £10 which is more than worth it for me as I can't lift bags of grit and slate. This is so disappointing as I love your garden centre but your policy on this matter doesn't make sense to me and it excludes many potential customers. I suggest you put a sign up advising people of your 'selective' delivery service and perhaps I should have kept a tab over the years of how much I actually do spend at your garden centre. Utterly bonkers!

We go here to buy various items that are either not available or priced more competitively than other garden centres for things like soil and flowers etc. It's a good experience and you will likely find what you're looking for if it's garden sundries you're after

We have long been customers at this nursery and are always delighted by the quality of their products. Staff are friendly and helpful. However, today I must single out a lovely man called Steven. I am in my seventies and initially approached him for advice which was given. When he saw me pulling one trolley with one hand and pushing another with the other hand he immediately came over and insisted I hand over the two trolleys to him. All the time with a nice smile on his face. He was my absolute hero today and is a credit to the Nursery.

Great place with friendly staff. A little nursery with a huge amount of choice crammed in the staff are friendly. We always buy our tomato plants here, and they provide lovely tomatoes all summer.
