Have been the the Springfield group for nearly 4 years now and could not be happier with the service. I love knowing I can take my pet to any of the vets in the chain day or night and they know her history. All 3 vets I have seen recently have been amazing and put my mind at rest. All the staff when ringing have been helpful and understanding as well. Would highly recommend.

They are OK, they neutered my 2 cats and that's gone OK but these were rspca cats and they point blank refused my vouchers. I had emails saying they would take them and then when the procedure was over they squirmed out of taken them saying it should of been put in when the costs were taken in and and not after. I will be avoid these unless I have to now. Cheaper elsewhere for vaccines etc, only chose to go there as they took these vouchers.

I echo other reviews where now it seems the priority is profit. Trying to sell further tests after quoting for work. Fake receptionists who really don't care about your point of view. Asked for a form to be sent to me and they did the total opposite and sent it to my insurer without my consent claiming "that's what they have to do". Gone downhill quality of service wise.

We've been happy with springfield for a couple of years, even when taking into account their high prices, but sadly not anymore. Basically once they knew our cat was insured they couldn't wait to sanction loads of tests to the tune of £1400. Now this is fine if the animals welfare is put first, but sadly in our case I think profit was the main motive. Couple this with a mistake made by the vet on the paperwork that lead to our insurance claim being rejected under an alleged "existing condition" clause, that springfield were of no interest in sorting out for us. This has left us having paid, and having to pay, both the insurance premiums and the cost of the vet 'care' But the main thing for us is our cat is still unwell with no answers from springfield vet group whatsoever. We have now changed Vets obviously. Be careful who you trust.

Telephone receptionists are indescribably unsympathetic with their fake cheery voices and apparent inability to even sympathise, listen, let alone give out the correct number for the only available Springfield vets in my locality to where I can take my cat to be out to sleep. Never EVER will I consider either Rotherham branches .

We took our old Cav, Alfie into Springfield Moorgate out of hours (not our usual vets) after becoming worried about his breathing, lack of appetite and general demeanor. It was fairly quickly established that he probably had pneumonia and was very poorly. This, on top of his age and the usual Cav heart issues meant we were really worried, as were the vets. We were terrified that this would be the moment we'd been dreading. However, after 5 days as an inpatient with Springfield's incredibly caring and expert team... We've got him back home and he's as bouncy, bright and naughty as ever. We can't thank the whole team at Springfield enough, from the ladies on the desk, to all of the nurses and vets that had a hand in bringing Alfie back to health. A brilliant vets all-round.
