My Father was a resident of Yockleton Grange Care Home, Shrewsbury for two and a half years. He was so happy there and all the staff were just amazing - he loved them all. He sadly died recently and spent his last days at Yockleton Grange - he could not have received better care and attention anywhere. He died peacefully in his room overlooking beautitful gardens with family and staff around him.

Writing this review about Springcare Ltd., Weston House in particular, i can only reflect on the peace of mind and relief that the carers have given me and my brother and sister, knowing mum is safe and being well looked after. Since our mum has been in Weston House (Springcare Ltd.), she has returned in part, back to how she was 12 months ago, happy, laughing, joking and a sense of humour,we have our mum back. The manager and staff do a terrific job,our mum and other residents are well looked after. They are entertained with either an entertainer, who sings and plays a banjo, they play bingo, dominoes etc. Our mum is doing more now in Weston House and enjoying herself, instead of being sat in front of the tv for most of the day, when she was at home. The food is excellent and because they all sit down together and at regular times, our mum is putting on a bit of weight, which is about time after the weight she lost through not eating properly. Because the visiting hours are very relaxed,it means we can visit at any time of the day or evening and even at meal times if necessary. We can phone at any time and either speak to the manager or the senior in charge on the day,or speak to our mum, which is good. Putting our mum in a home, was an extremely difficult decision to make, but on reflection now,it was definitely the right one. She is so much happier and enjoying life again at the age of 89,soon to be 90 in May. We are so grateful to the manager and staff at Weston House.
