Room is quite small, can share a kitchen with up to 9 people and is quite expensive. But it has a swimming pool, and good ammenities. Location is close to public transport so that's a bonus.

This organization is quite pathetic really. - Lifts broken for weeks on end. When they are fixed, they are working for literally 3 days before breaking again. SWITCH LIFT PROVIDERS! - Queries and emails take a minimum of 5 working days to get a reply, a good precentage are ignored. - Terrible organization. We were supposed to have keys for bin stores and mail when we first moved in, its been over 2 months now and we still don't have any of these. - Noise complaints are ignored, the poor night shift security guard has to be called in every time there's a disturbance. Why don't you organize for the entrance to be locked at night?

The accommodation used to be a lot better. The facilities are great, just the people who runs it totally ruined this good place. I need to print off stuff for many important occasion, but they would refuse you to print off them for nonsense and excuses. This place used to provide 24hr printing service. It’s just sad to see how this place become like this today. By the way, the security who wears a cap is always super unfriendly and not helpful at all, I don’t know why he has not got fired yet.

Whilst I have really enjoyed my time here and felt the friendly attitude from many of the reception and management staff, it ended with my heavy disappointment. When I tried to collect my parcel just now at around 17:20, 5 August from a reception staff, I said “can I collect a parcel for 72?”. The staff did not quite hear my words and I repeated “a parcel for 72 please”. He said “76?”. I said “72”. He then came back with the parcel and said “next time you ask for parcel, you need to add ‘please’ or you will not get parcel from me. I am not your slave. You need to say exactly “can I collect a parcel please”. I felt sad and stressful. My words “can I …” were in no way disrespectful and they were not condescending in any form. I even have no idea whether he threaten me on my rights to collect my own property because I worn a mask at that time or I disturbed his time enjoying Tik-Tok. This was the most insulting and stressful moment I have ever had for the past three years in the UK. I am now fearful of collecting parcels from reception (even from other friendly staff I have met earlier). I am sharing this experience with incoming international tenants who may not fully master English but need to use the exact phrase “Can I xxx please” like a robot to request their very own parcel or otherwise will be blamed of treating staff as “slave”.
