When my 12 year old daughter gets sent home from school by the nurse with pains in her lower back and advised to go see her doctor. You try two days in a row to get her an appointment. But by the time you get through. There are no appointments left. And try again tomorrow. Then when you say I will have to take her to A&E. And told only to do so if she really needs to go. I know, let’s leave my 12 year old in pain and off school for however long it takes to see a doctor. This system is broke.

Impossible to get an appointment, and when you get through you get told "unless it's an emergency, ring back next week".

dreadful experiance. rang and rang. no help offered. took a morning off work to fill in the online access form . wrote some difficult and distressing information regarding my mental state. taken well over an hour. then you can't submit it as site got technical difficulties. i'm a charge nurse in the nhs and have been working on covid units for nearly 2 years i'm nota complainer. but i have had no proper access to medication for nearly 6 weeks despit calling the surgery. the staff are fine. its just we can't get any help. there must be a formal route to make a complaint. a couple of my mates are health comisioners in leeds and i've asked them. christ if english wasn't my first language or i had learning disabilities i'd be totally screwed. what do i do go knocking on door at the dales and ask to be let in. tried again today online service still out of action. tried ringing 20th in the queue. lodged a complaint with ombudsman awaitng nhs englands responce to my concerns another botched routine request. had to have a meds review even though i'm on bloodthinners for a good while yet. surgery not updated on nhs app so unable to access meds. so i haven't had my bloodthinners, cardiac medication, antidepressives and i'm currently 19th in the phone queue. really hope i don't have a blood clot.

Why has the online consultation process changed, If something isn't broken, why fix it? Also, how can after three quarters of an hour can you still not answer the phone?

Poor communication. Late prescriptions. Confusion at the pharmacy. Admin team don't appear to know how to use the systems. I can't see that growing the practice by merging with yet more practices will help this dire situation.

Reception will tell you anything to clear the queue. Earliest 'call' appointment requires a 7 day wait

I just wanted to comment that the last few times I’ve been in contact with the surgery the two female doctors (can’t remember their names) I have spoke to have been absolutely fantastic with me, very helpful, full of concern and very quick with trying to sort out my issues. The people on reception too, very friendly and helpful. Service very good keep up the great work you are doing
