This review is late but it’s needed. It is not to speak on any of their other services apart from the ha always bleached and dyed my own hair at home, so this was the first time and thought that they would know more than me, in terms of going to the burgundy colour that I wanted for my 21st birthday, which I have never done myself. Went in for a consultation and she dyed a bit of my hair to the colour I showed her and when I went in she showed me and I told her that it’s not as dark as I would want it. In summary I spent over a £100 to look like the queen of hearts from Alice in wonderland, while she used a cheap £4 hair dye from crazy colour. The only positives was the vibrating chair and head massage and I learnt that for bleached hair it requires semi permanent colour to stick for longer. Apart from that , the stylist tried convincing me the colour was nice, and the other trainee stylist didn’t listen when I told her not to put too much product in my hair and not to use a diffused as it’d crisp up, which she did both :). Do not recommend for colouring hair. I did manage to fix my hair using adore dye for like £6/7 came out nice. Service: Hair coloring

First time ever having my hair cut at this salon and I wasn’t disappointed. Matt was really knowledgeable and spoke to me about my hair and felt like he knew what he was doing. My hair actually has shape to it as well which I’ve always struggled with. Thank you

i have visited spring twice - the first time for a big chop and the second time for a cut and balayage. i cannot even describe what an incredible experience it’s been both times, and how amazing I feel leaving the Salon. Paige did a wonderful job with my haircut today and Nicole is just unbelievably talented colourist. This will forever be my go to salon. ❤️

I have been coming to Spring for several years now, but yesterday was my first appointment with Donna. It was a thoroughly wonderful experience from start to finish! Donna was kind, an excellent listener, and so knowledgable. She checked in with me throughout the whole process, making sure I was okay and happy with everything. She gave me so much advice, and helped me figure out why my hair had thinned out so much and was breaking, but also highlighted where she could see I had lots of new growth, which helped me feel so encouraged. She helped me identify that I was suffering from a protein overload, and reccommended different styling products for me to try that would be protein free, and even some supplements to help with regrowth. I came away with my first ever curly bangs, something I had always dreamed of, and I am in love! Also shoutout to the lovely Hannah who did my wash and style, she was so kind, friendly and knowledgable as well! All in all the best appointment I have had so far, would 100% reccomend Spring to anyone with curly hair, it is definitely worth the money. Services: Curly hair, Hairstyling

I can’t praise Spring Birmingham enough. It’s the first time I had been to a curly salon as only recently had curly hair. I had Matt who sat down and listened to me, checked what I wanted and that I was happy with the the plan all before putting a pair of scissors near my hair. Then we he did cut my hair and he did an amazing job giving it shape and it really helped define my curls. Then the lovely Nicole did the same she sat with me discussing colour suggestions and had colour charts to ensure I was 100% happy with my choices and the plan. I felt in control all the way which was great as I had bad experiences in different places. Nicole did my colour and got rid of all my grey and made my hair look healthy and shiny again. Hannah was lovely and washed and dried it to perfection and I felt human and pretty again. All the time I was in Spring their staff were lovely, offered drinks, checked I was okay and I will definitely go back. If you would like to try a curly salon that really understands your hair and that will listen to you and what you want … this is the place for you xx ❤️😊❤️ Services: Curly hair, Hairstyling, Hair coloring
