I highly recommend Sprat and Winkle. The team are fantastic and our son loves going there. The forest school is a big favourite and having a play park outside is perfect for a play after pickup.

Brilliant nursery supported by an experienced and caring team. Our son loves going to this setting, enjoying forest school, yoga, crafts and trips into the village regularly! Great meals supplied by the school next door, lots of activities for the children and a lovely rural setting. Fully recommend to all!

Jennie and her team are really working hard to provide a nursery that doesn't just pay lip service to the needs of the children, they truly embracing child lead learning, outdoor play and nurturing the imagination of these children. It really is a phenomenal setting under fantastic management.

My son has had a great time at Sprat and Winkle. He has been able to get out into the woods and do lots of painting and self-directed play. He's even teaching me various songs he has learnt there. He only joined age 3 and a half, and will soon be heading for school, but I think it's been a great bridge for him.

Highly recommend this nursery! My son started 3 months ago as a very shy child with next to no social skills and since starting, he has come out of his shell so much and is progressing so well since Covid times, all thanks to the ladies at Sprat & Winkle. Kirsty and Carly are an asset to the team and each week I get updates on what he's eaten, how he's slept and what he's been up to. They have amazing play equipment inside and outside and the children have so much variety in what they can do. If you're thinking about putting your child here, please don't hesitate, they're just wonderful.

Wonderful village nursery with its own Forest school and lots of outdoor learning opportunities. The nursery offers lots of opportunities for the children to grow in confidence and resilience. Staff are mature and professional and there is a lovely sense of community.
