Salam, I wanted to take this opportunity to make a comment on my experience as a sponsor to spot project orphans. I am sponsoring two orphans with the help of my fellow brothers and sisters as a result of a fundraiser. I must say to date this is the most rewarding thing I have done. The importance of charity is known but its so much more satisfying and fulfilling to be able to see where your money is going and the impact its making. SPOT is so transparent and I feel apart of the organisation as there is constant updates on the changes and improvements that are being made. I also receive emails and updates about my orphans, letting me know how they are getting on and their likes and interests; they have also drawn some pictures for me. Recently I traveled to the Gambia so I reached out to the team to be able to see the children I'm sponsoring. The team was so sufficient in making this happen and it was such a beautiful experience. It warmed my heart to see the children and to know that I was making such an impact, I spent a bit of time with them and also spoke to their aunt who takes care of them, which was amazing as she was so appreciative. Kadija (member of the spot team) was absolutely amazing, she was so warm and welcoming. I voiced my interest in wanting to be more involved in the charity and do and she told me that I could contact her and she would keep in contact with me. She is honestly so kind, friendly and warm and its just refreshing to know that such characters are running the organisation. I would love to visit the orphanage on my next visit InShaAllah. My overall experience has been wonderful and as a result I would love to do more and become more involved in SPOT InShaAllah.

I volunteered to help pack food boxes for people affected by Covid and it has got to be one of the most memorable experiences I have ever had. The energy throughout the day was so uplifting and unifying. The fact that 600 boxes were made in such a short amount of time, made me realise that you can achieve much more by working together with others, than if you do something alone. I'm excited to be a part of future projects because this was just an amazing experience, with such a great outcome!

Had the pleasure to volunteer for the spot project. Was an amazing day helping to pack boxes for those affected by the pandemic and struggling to buy provisions. It was really nice meeting new young people volunteering for their first time aswell, people from all over London from all different communities came forward to help and be part of this amazing experience. I'm glad my first volunteering experience was with the spot and I wouldn't have it any different. May Allah bless these beautiful souls and bless them with barakat in this world and the next. Till the next event! 🙌🏽

The first time I heard of SPOT Project was in 2016, me and my sister wanted to organise an event to raise money for the orphans in Gambia. We didn’t really have many expectations as we thought SPOT project was just like any other charity, with people in charge that you never see or communicate with. The founders of SPOT Project soon dismissed those thoughts as after organising many events we realised how involved the whole team is, whether or not they are in the same country. The SPOT Project has given us the opportunity to meet so many amazing people and put smiles on the children’s faces in Gambia. It’s truly a rewarding experience and this is the only charity I’d work with as they are transparent and you know and can see exactly where your money goes. We can't wait to visit Gambia. In shaa Allah

I’m so blessed that I had the opportunity to volunteer, definitely the best way to spend a weekend! I was surrounded by so many amazing people, with the same intention - to be able to help others that are in need. It was such a humbling experience and sooo fulfilling to see the reactions of people when we delivered the parcels. I think the work SPOT project have done and are still doing is incredible, they are not only thinking about the future of people less fortunate outside of the Uk but also people in our own communities who are struggling! I’m definitely looking forward to helping out again I’A! 🙏🏽

I’ve known for a couple of years now that giving back and charity work is something I want to dedicate my life to. I’ve always just wanted to impact people and that’s something that Spot Project does incredibly. I’m so glad I’ve aligned with genuine people with the only ambition and goal being - improving people’s quality of life. It was one of the most fulfilling things I’ve ever done in my life and I remember walking home thinking, wow, I feel like I actually did something meaningful with my life today. My favourite part about volunteering is the fact that it doesn’t just stop there with this organisation, they really want to take you on board and have you apart of the journey, so when I heard about the opportunity to go to Gambia next year and physically help out, I knew in my heart it was a no brainer. Looking forward to raising the funds and going in sha allah! I honestly feel like I devleoped an emotional attachment to the charity!!! 🙏🏾❤️

My experience with Spot Project has been so fun and rewarding as I was able to help our struggling neighbours and communities. I didn’t realise how many people living in our communities were struggling during this pandemic and I’m so glad I could do something to help them! Massive thank you to the Spot Project for making me a part of their meaningful events and I look forward to participating in future events🙏🏼

Hi, I’ve worked with Spot Project before and genuinely love the charity. I decided to help out last minute and I am so glad I did. Dropping off the food parcels and realising how fortunate we are made me feel so grateful. I hope I am given the opportunity to work with you guys again. A true inspiration.
