To celebrate a significant anniversary, my husband and I ate at Sportsman on 07/05/23. There is nothing that would have improved our experience. The food, drinks and staff were all exceptional. The five course taster menu has options for all diners. It was so delicious from start to finish. We will definitely be going back for more Bloody Marys, bread, duck with brik pastry and passionfruit souffle and everything else but those were my favourites. We were delighted with the walnut biscuit stack with candle as a celebration of our anniversary.

a small and rustic restaurant! the tasting menu is the one to go for, you get a bit of everything and you can’t go wrong with it! of course the menu changes daily as it depends on harvest! you can see the gardens where they grow their own vegetables through the window, which just makes the food taste of much better! would recommend coming for a sunny brunch, as the lighting makes everything better!

Amazing experience! Unfussy but nice and cosy space, wait staff were really attentive and explained everything. Good options for a gluten free and a vegetarian. My partner loved the soda bread so much he was given some to take home with us!
