Excellent service. Very nicely seasoned logs. After trying multiple local and national suppliers my experience is that Spooners provides the best value. Two bulk bags makes up a stack 2.25m wide x 1.4m high (see photo). Three bulk bags stack up just short of what other companies often describe as a Maxi crate, but significantly cheaper. Spooners seasoned logs have mainly been Birch, although the first delivery was a mixture, and they burn as well as kiln dried. My experience has also been that there are a much lower percentage of annoyingly small logs than other companies, although there are still a fair amount. Delivery is quick, they keep you well informed, and the forklift service is priceless for a gravel driveway.

Spoke to Gail on 8 March - we were JUST inside their delivery area (TW9). Logs came today via a flatbed lorry and a fork lift. The lorry had to park on the opposite site of the road - several houses away. The fork lift was able to bring the bags over which are MASSIVE. So glad they have covers on as rain is due and we will not be able to move them until the weekend. The driver got penned in by a parent taking their child to school but waited patiently until they returned and he could carry on with the unloading. We will definitely be using Spooners again - if they can bear the traffic around here!

The process of ordering was straightforward. The subsequent call made by the company to arrange delivery was friendly and informative... my choice of time, day, logs as a load or in bags. Nick, as always diligent in his efforts to deliver, and my logs were safely placed in the log store on my return from work. You couldn't ask for more. This is the second time I have placed an order and can recommend the company wholeheartedly... and the fire produced by the logs is fabulous!
