BEST CATERERS EVER! From the initial meeting at our venue, to the food tasting to our wedding day itself, everyone at Splinters were nothing short of amazing. We have had so many compliments on our canapes and 3 course dinner, everyone was so full they struggled to eat the evening pizza!

We just wanted to say a very big thank you to Splinters for their service on our wedding day at Hedingham Castle. The food was amazing and the service excellent. From our initial contact, through our tasting session and including last minute changes, everyone was friendly, patient and helpful. We had lots of empty plates and compliments are still coming in. Amazing food and incredible service. We used Splinters for our wedding in November and they were absolutely brilliant. The food was absolutely delicious, with incredibly generous portions - even the canapés! The service was seamless, for both the drinks reception (no empty glasses in sight!) and the wedding breakfast, and they did a fantastic job setting up and clearing away to make space for the evening. Everything went perfectly, meaning we could just sit back and enjoy! Would absolutely recommend.

We just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you so much for your impeccable service and fantastic catering for our wedding on 17th September. Numerous guests have said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding and that the service and attention to detail were excellent. I'd like to give a special mention to Marie who was a great lead on the day and explained things really clearly and made sure the service was on top form. Please read if you are considering using for your wedding. I met Hayley at our wedding’s open evening in April, she was very friendly, took my information. She told us that if we book this year they will honour their current prices and also that once we are booked in for a tasting our date is reserved. The next day she contacted me via email and I organised a tasting. I had a consultation call with sally, she told me that it would be unlikely that they would be able to honour their current prices but that they would confirm in November (when our tasting was scheduled for). This was disappointing and showed a lack of communication between colleagues. 3 weeks before our scheduled tasting I received an email from Sally saying that they are now fully booked for our wedding date. Although they apologised, they used the poor excuse that they are a small business and so sometimes they have to do this to people and not honour their promise. Due to the short notice it is unlikely that I will be able to organised another tasting for the same time frame when we have one other tasting scheduled leaving us to have no choice in the caterer we use.

Splinters supplied our wedding meal for our recent wedding at smeetham hall ban. The food was amazing, all our guests complimented the meal and thoroughly enjoyed it. They catered for all our guests including Vegans and Gluten free. The food came on time, the service was faultless, the staff were friendly. we would highly recommend to anybody wanting a catering service.

Splinters catered our wedding in June 2022. They were amazing from start to finish, and we would not have even attempted having a marquee DIY wedding without them! They helped with all aspects of our day. The food was delicious and we received so many compliments from our guests. There was so much choice to suit everyone. The staff were all so polite and professional. Our wedding would not have been the same without them. We would highly recommend Splinters for any event.
