I solicited for a rent to buy a car and a holding deposit was obtained on 26th and subsequently on 27th April 2023 respectively for administrative process for a sum of £299.00 & £1.00 respectively. l have made this transaction on the phone without attestation to any signed agreement in placed. I made the payment by relayed on the Sales Executive to be wholly and exclusively true, which l have relayed upon that the car promised to allocate to me was attractive and progressive. I reported to the showroom but to be disappointed with the car promised, it was an absolutely a turnoff and the alternative subsequently suggested to me have been dented, scratches damaged and the interior of the car seats were not leather standards, so l declined to accept the vehicle. I was told be the Sales Executive that l have lost my deposit and won't be refunded. I strongly rejected this transaction in a strongest manner. I have not taken or obtained any services from Splend prior nor existing services. Finally, l expressly triggered to claim back my full refund under the sale of Goods Act as stated below The conditions for product quality under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are the same as the Sale of Goods Act. All products must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Similarly, any claim you make is against the retailer, not the manufacturer. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 covers digital content as well as services and physical goods. Refund From the date you take ownership of your product, you have 30 days to reject it for not meeting one of the above conditions and receive a full refund. After the 30 days are up, you lose your legal right to a full refund if your item is found to be faulty. For perishable goods, such as milk or vegetables, for instance, the 30-day period is reduced depending on the shelf-life of the goods. (To claim a refund under the Consumer Rights Act read our article: Consumer Rights Act 2015: How to Claim a Refund) Repair or Replace Once the 30 days have passed, you may contact your retailer about an item purchased from them that did not meet the above conditions and request that they repair or replace it. The retailer will decide whether they choose to repair the item or replace it instead, but you may state your preference of the two options. If this is unsuccessful, then you may claim a refund or a reduction in the purchase price if you would like to retain the item. In conclusion, Splend has not provided me no services at all but used a sharp practices to extort me and as a member of the public. My consumer rights must stayed and be protected. My prayer is that l would like natwest bank master credit card to recover in full, all monies obtained from my credit credit card, forthwith. Stay away from this business, they pretend they support drivers but as soon as there is a problem they start charging you 1000£ pound even though it is not your fault, My car was hit when it was parked, I have let the business know the morning after , but they said it is unreported damage which doesn’t make sense I was willing to provide evidence but they also refused, and went ahead to charge me 1000£ for no reason, These people make money on insurance claims and charge you as well , It is a scam stay away

They are the worse PCO car hire & rental ever. Their agreement is rubbish. I went for their car yesterday, bringing it home I noticed it was faulty and decided to take it back. According to the manager my deposit and and the one week payment is not refundable. They are thieves working in an office. Will advise that no one should go for their cars. Their unprofessional
