  Avoid this place like a plague. Unprofessional and marketing services they are not equipped for. Charging £80 (at full price) for microdermabrasion using cheap materials and with zero experience. Sadly I prepaid for the service via Treatwell and went ahead with it. Hair stylist was good, however, the marketed treatment wasn’t met. ‘Manager’ tried her best to disregard my concerns (severe bruising and broken capillaries) but ultimately resulted in a refund. Having had the same facial in several other places, I have never had this outcome. Manager then went on to claim she’s a dermatologist with 20 years experience but did not understand why I was surprised that SPF isn’t offered as part of the treatment. The ‘therapist’ claimed to have not seen the impact of the treatment as the lighting was too dark and they always do facials in the dark. Honestly the WORST experience ever. Dirty environment with not hospitality (even the seating was poor)! Should be closed down. Therapist didn’t even bother to replace the water used once, using the same water to clean my face pre, during and post service. Genuinely traumatic experience.

  On May 19 I went to Splash salon in Goodge Street. I exchanged a few words with a hairdresser who was in front of the window to smoke a cigarette. This invites me to go inside to fix an appointment with him. At the reception, the person at the counter told me that there are already 4 people before me. She proposed to me at 7:30 p.m. I arrived at my appointment a little before 7 p.m. I came face to face with the hairdresser I met 2 hours earlier who was already dressed and ready to go. He informed me that he had to leave but that his colleague will cut my hair. Then he went to see this colleague and exchange a few words with him. Finally, he went to take off his jacket and then walk towards me informing me that he is going to cut my hair before leaving. It was a horror! He cut my hair in a hurry. When finished, I went to the counter to pay. I was told £11.75 and the price displayed is £10.75. I asked why it's £11.75, the person told me the price had gone up. An honest hairdresser would display the price that customers will have to pay and not give customers a bad surprise when paying, which is the case with this hairdresser 'Splash salon' in Goodge Street. So I paid what this person asked me. At the same time, I took the opportunity to tell her that I would not come back to her salon to have my hair cut. She immediately asked me in a rather arrogant tone why? I made her understand that I did not don't intend to give money to people who don't seem to have respect and consideration for customers. Indeed, I don't have money for people who see you as a number or a sheep, who don't even take the time to listen to you carefully and offer quality service. A customer who pays £10 or £50, I regret to point out, both deserve the same quality of service. I find that they are very disrespectful, arrogant, and too proud. Today they are proud because they think they have enough customers, but what about tomorrow? I had a very bad experience with this Splash salon in Goodge Street. I have a great regret to have gone to them but I am not ready to return. Service: Hairstyling

  I have been coming to this salon for a while now for different treatments and today was my second hair appointment (wash, cute and blowdry) which was done by Simona. I came to her again because she is THE BEST! She is the best hairdresser I have ever been to and I have tried many (expensive and cheap) Simona is absolutely amazing, incredibly skilled and kind. I get many compliments in my hair and its all her! I have recommended her to everyone and will carry on going to her! Services: Shampoo & conditioning, Hairstyling

  Worst haircut I’ve ever had! Do not come here for a mens haircut. The hairdresser I had was inexperienced and had no knowledge of how to cut hair or fade. He is a short East Asian man and I believe his name was ‘Gabi’. He will destroy your hair. This man does not know what a fade is, or what a 0.5 is, or what a haircut is for that matter. I walked in and the receptionist was nice, and I didn’t have to wait. Then the ‘hairdresser’ asked me to sit on the chair. I told him specifically what I wanted in a nice and professional way. He then proceeded to chip away at my hair with no guard! I gave him the benefit of the doubt, assuming that he knew what he was doing because he was a ‘hairdresser’, but my god…the end result was horrendous. When I told him what he did wrong, he started to blame me, telling me that I was wrong. I’ve been to many barbers/hairdressers and this man was delusional. He was incredibly rude too, showing signs of distaste when I asked him to fix it - showing him what a fade was. He told me that he knew what I meant, but clearly he didn’t as half my hair was missing. This guy literally shaved half my head. Please save yourself from embarrassment. I’m in a lucky position as I cut my family’s hair as a hobby, so I managed to fix my hair (somewhat)

  I have been going to Spash for years and I have no complaints about my experience there. Brais is always professional and he knows how to make you feel comfortable.
