We had a lovely Spitfire aluminium door fitted recently but the whole experience was soured by a few things. We were not told by Spitfire that they do not take away your old door and were left to dispose of it ourselves. The fitters, Chelsea Aluminium, told us that they couldn't fit the old door into their van and someone would call later to collect it. When it wasn't collected we phoned the man who was supposed to collect who said that they are not insured to take away old doors. Also the plug on the door was European and the fitters forced it into our socket with no adaptor supplied. We've phoned Spitfire twice who promised to get back to us but didn't. All in all a very poor service for a premium product.

Excellent showroom and door choices on offer. We opted for the S200 in RAL 7016 textured effect as this was the closest match to our sand grain anthracite Hormann garage door. Customer service was also excellent, particularly Laura Daniels, who knew the product ranges very well and was on hand to answer any questions. Door looks great too!.

We visited Spitfire Doors showroom near Macclesfield and we were really impressed with the range and quality of doors on display. We were helped through the whole process by Laura Daniels who was extremely knowledgeable. The door has now been fitted and we are so pleased with it. It’s the S200 range and the quality and finish is excellent.

My new front S500 double doors were installed today by my Mainstream assisted by Hefin from Spitfire. What a difference it made to the front of the house! Both Mainstream and Spitfire deserve six stars but there are only 5 available. Superb teamwork with an emphasis on customer service meant I was well pleased with the finished work. Some minor trim work remains to be completed but I have no doubt whatsoever that it will be completed quickly. I'm so glad that I chose these suppliers to do this job.

Great website and it appears for the site a good product range but a shame about customer service. I have requested a quote and been promised now on several occasions that an approved installer will be in touch and I have not heard anything. Decided not to chase again because I worry that if customer service is not there from the start, then once orders are placed and money paid it will likely not get any better.

Bought a door in 2020. It broke in 2020 and apparently it’s not under warranty and they won’t fix it without us paying thousands of pounds extra. Also I over heard a couple of colleagues being racist over the phone. Disgusting company
