Heather was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the session was jam-packed with advice personalised to me and my pup, everything explained really clearly and hit exactly the things we needed to work on.   We have used Lauren and the team for puppy training, scent training and off-lead / recall training. They are always helpful, informative and knowledgeable. The classes are fun for both the dogs and owners. Would definitely recommend.

She is such a fantastic, positive, confident and knowledgeable trainer who really cares about the outcome of the dogs she teaches. She’s so thorough and with each lesson you can see every dog in the class progress further and further. She’s a blessing to the Kent area!!!

  SpiritedDog training and behaviour team are absolutely brilliant! Lauren helped me with work with my reactive rescue dogs to make our walks more relaxed and enjoyable. We also tried Felix in an agility class. I was nervous to introduce him to other dogs due to his reactivity but both Lauren and Hollie were brilliant with helping me manage introductions. Felix and I thoroughly enjoyed our Agility rookies course and I’m so proud of all the progress he was able to make!

  Lauren's reactivity training was great! A clear routine was established in the field (with the use of her own dogs) before we tested it out in a busy dog-walking area. My dog was a star and managed to walk around and see other unfamiliar dogs for an hour without any barking. Thank you!

  Myself and my partner have attended both puppy classes and the Gun dog beginners classes that Lauren and her team offer and loved both of them. The puppy classes helped us form a good foundation of training with our puppy Winnie with commands like 'place' and 'leave' that have meant having guests in our house and leaving food in her close proximity are no longer a problem (although overly affectionate, she is a very well mannered dog and I believe that comes down to her early training with Spirited dog). We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the group training and it was lovely to not feel judged or critiqued when your dog didn't pick up the training as quickly as others. Everyone was able to learn at their own pace and it was a really friendly group to be a part of. We also attended the Gun dog beginners classes as we have a working Labrador Retriever and although we do not hunt or take Winnie on any shoots we have found the retrieval games amazing when we have her off lead on a walk to help tire her mind as well as her legs! I would also like to mention that it was lovely seeing breeds other than classic 'gun dogs' in the group, the trainers at Spirited dog were welcoming to any owner and dog that wanted to participate. Although we have only attended group training sessions I will always go back to Spirited dog if we ever have any worries about Winnie's training or behaviour as she matures, I have found the whole team very approachable and their training and overall ethos fully supports that relationship I hope to maintain with my dog.

  Lauren is an absolutely wonderful dog trainer, and I would recommend her in a heartbeat for her group classes and 121s. Bruce our dog first met Lauren at puppy class, and he fell in love with her immediately! We’ve since completed all levels of puppy, all levels of sniffers and agility too, all of Lauren’s classes are so much fun. We’ve also had Lauren for a number of 121s as our Bruce has anxiety so she has really helped with that. Thank you, Lauren!

  I have used SpiritedDog Training & Behaviour a number of times and for various different services. Not once have I left feeling disappointed. My first experience was a couple of years back with 1 to 1 behavioural training for my reactive senior Jack Russell. Guiltily, her walks were met with frustration and it was a constant battle. Lauren helped guide me with where I could improve my training. I received guidance in the home and in the field I would go for walks. I can now take Miley on sniffaris without being anxious about another dog entering the same field, she no longer resource guards and has even initiated play with dogs I have met on walks. I did not feel pressured to continue paying for sessions. Lauren has given me the confidence and skillset to increase the size of my family, not once, not twice but three times. I routinely take the youngest three back to Lauren for the sports courses, behavioural classes and clubs. I'm not the best socialiser but have felt comfortable in the courses and the team are very approachable when asking questions. The classes are kept to a small group which allows each dog to get enough attention and training. Each one of our dogs has been treated differently. Their different behaviours and skillsets have been picked up on and I've been taught how to provide the best training for each one. I often get told how well behaved my dogs are and I can fully put this down to Lauren.

  Spirited dog training I’ve had a very nervous puppy, with the help of Lauren and other members of the team. My red fox lab has become more confident and obedient. She is in training to become a gundog. Very positive friendly patient dog trainers. I also love the classes. I Have learnt a lot of techniques to help get there the most enjoyment out of my dog, so she can have a full fun life.
