The best tutoring website both for the tutors as well as students. I have been working as tutor on the platform for more than a year and its very satisfying to work as a tutor for the platform and contribute towards the learning of the students. Overall a poor experience. Service does not work with Microsoft Edge or Safari (between them used by population of 2 billion+ people. No ability to test classroom in advance. Wasted 15 minutes trying to get it working. Tutor was OK but follow up was poor. Customer service team are not available in evenings or weekends! Customer support follow up was unhelpful. Felt very transactional and for £95 an hour definitely not value for money. No offer was made to rectify my experience and the response to my review below is simply a lie. The message you get on their browser contradicts this! Poor workman blame their tools. On customer service - how can a chatbot deal with a situation where a child cannot log into a classroom for a premium service due to poor technology? Further evidence if any were needed of not to choose Spires.

I got a tutor from spires, Georgia, from my programming studies in University. In my first lesson I had with her, she was nice and helped me with my assignments we only had one lesson, and I paid her for that session which I put into her account we agreed to have a session twice but it never happened and I never the refund for those two. When ask for the £165 back she says next time I will give a session and help you she is always making excuses on why the session could not happen, she is always says she will call me but she never does and when I try to call her she does not answer my calls, and when I send her a message she replies later with an excuse so for the whole day I wait for her to call so I am constantly stuck I would not recommend this teacher to anyone on spires. Now, she is doing the same thing again I requested for the money back and again I have not received it, I said that I do not need help with the assignment anymore and to not send any of the work to me she has said again that she will help me with further assignments just like she said before when I needed help for my other assignments and has done the same thing.

One of the tutors named Shahid, said he had availability for Computer Science lessons 3 days a week , then after a brief meeting online with my son, ,out of the blue just decided to cancel my sons connection putting the reason down as unreasonable. We then asked why he had done that and he advised he was not taking on any new clients and then changed the reason to other. Saying he was sure we would find another tutor on the website. Not a very professional way to run a business.
