RiverKnits is a Dye Studio and yarn shop in one of the old buildings at the former Royal Ordinance storage site in Weedon Bec. We came for their Open Day, as my wife was interested in their yarns and what the Open Day stalls would have available. The whole site was busy on the day but there's plenty of parking available and it wasn't too hard to find RiverKnits' unit. Lots of colourful yarns were shown in a range of luxury wools, alpaca, silk and others. Refreshments and snacks were available and there were places to sit down too. All in all a worthwhile visit for the knitter in the family and we'll come back on a quieter day.

Great open studio event. Like the small vendors with several new to me. Everyone was friendly and there wasn't too many people do there time to talk to the vendors. The cafe setup was good in raising money for a charity and I hope it did well. The range of vendors was fantastic as it wasn't just hand dyed yarn. I would go again as it was alot better than several of the bigger yarn shows I been too. I even managed to spend as much if not more money than I would have at a big show!
