I just want to raise this dangerous parking that is happening on a regular basis (I think linked to the local car depot business) on Shenley Lane, near the social club. I have to walk that way to take and collect my toddler from his preschool. There is a footpath on both sides of the road but every morning that I walk there (around 8.15am) and every time I collect him (12.30pm ish) both footpaths are blocked from vehicle transport vehicles. They park up on the path, completely blocking it, and are left unattended for lengths of time as I have previously waited to try and talk the drivers directly. This forces me and my 3 year old out and onto Shenley Lane, having to walk down pretty much the centre of the very busy road due to the width of the vehicles left. They are also left near the corner and with the fast cars coming in both directions, it's very dangerous for me and my toddler. Today on our way back there were 3 vehicles left, one on one side one in one side and 2 end to end on the other. So we had to walk down the middle of the road for some length of time. I was lucky today that a car spotted me struggling to get around both vehicles and stopped but this has never happened before. So if younwere this lady - thank you!!! I've reported to the police and council but if anyone knows anyone from the car company depot along there. Maybe you can make them aware of this issue. (Just 2 of the vehicles from today.)
