I don't remember being charged for poppadoms and relish they are normally complimentary. Enjoyed my meal, went with quite a large party so service was a little slow but understood. No ice for drinks or to keep our drinks cool. A little annoying but no major issue. All in all a good meal would eat there again if couldn't find any thing better.

Very clean, the atmosphere was very pleasant music at a nice relaxing pace, nicely decorated with nice relaxing lighting. The staff Midge and James were very friendly and professional and paid attention to detail especially with our request, everything we asked for we got, the food was hot when served and tasted really good, we also had a takeaway for our daughter and she said the food was of good standard. We will return and hope others read our review and give Spice River a try and enjoy their own experience.

Whilst i was pleased with the level of service, the food was really disappointing. It lacked any flavour and tasted insipid. I whilst the containers are large the contents doesn't have alot of meat in them. I had the chicken tikka and it was swimming is sauce but only had 6 pieces of chicken in it...why? The bhaji's were nice but I didn't bother to eat the naan so won't comment on them. This was one of the worst meals I've had in a long time and had to throw the tikka away. I think it's time to find a new indian takeaway.
